Concerned Pet Owners, the case and litigation regarding the lead in the Blue Buffalo dog food was closed as of today: March 23, 2018. As with the Pet Food recalls and the other litigation cases against this company which has been ongoing for the last 9 years, no fault was ever admitted despite objective laboratory analysis verifying in this case, toxic lead levels.
Unfortunately, in today’s world instead of right and wrong, many cases come down to finances. Court litigation is very expensive and the average person and/or persons are not financially able to legally compete with a company like Blue Buffalo that is making Billions of dollars.
The link to this settlement is here.
In all cases remember “we are what we eat.” This applies to people as well as to our beloved dogs and cats. Holistic practitioners like Dr. Carol, use food as medicine. In fact in this veterinarians experience, nothing could be more important to your pets health, wellness and longevity than what you put in that food bowl every day.
If you feed your pet a certain food and your dog and/or cat is not looking, acting feeling and.or feeling well, chances are simple changes can be made by addressing his or her diet and nutrition, for example, that can make substantial positive changes for your best friend.
In our veterinary clinic, we customize homemade diets and add a comprehensive anti-oxidant-vitamin-mineral supplement to balance them out. It does require a little extra time, effort and energy but most pet owners don’t mind at all. Overall our results have been excellent!!

I just found an article on Facebook it mentions the lawsuit for blue Buffalo dog food. Was there ever any indication that there was a problem with cat food by blue Buffalo? Would really like to know.
The link leads to the Blue Blue Buffalo one but I didn’t see either this nor Arcana on there. What gets me is Blue Buffalo ” gets away” with having arsenic with the nerve of denying it with the black and white results in front of them.
Do you h ave any suggestions on a dry dog food, grain free. I finally got my JRT of prescription dog food to Blue Buffalo!!! I need him off this food immediately, but he does have some issues with dog food.
I would greatly appreciate advice.
