Alternative to Dog Knee Surgery. Hi Dr. Carol, My dog, Missy, was diagnosed ten years ago by two veterinarians and both said she needed surgery on her hind leg knees, because she injured the ligaments. They quoted us a price of $3000.00 with no guarantee of her results. We were devastated until, my daughter found PAAWS on-line and we tried it. Within three days she was walking normally and jumping on the couch. Unbelievable! That was 10 years ago. Since then we have been giving Missy PAAWS vitamin supplements every day. Now she is now 16 years young.
Our current vet said Missy is in such great shape that we should shoot for 20 years. Everyone that meets her thinks she is still a puppy by the way she jumps around. I also have done my part by taking her on long walks daily. I and my dog are glad we found PAAWS. Thank you for creating this great pet product, it worked for us and by eliminating the need for her surgery, PAAWS saved us over $3000.00 dollars!

Now is not a good time to doubt the existence of alternative medicine; now is the time to embrace it and even indulge if you must.
Hi Emmett,
Yes that’s correct, alternative medicine fills in the gaps left void by traditional medicine
and chronic disorders including cancer benefit greatly.
Thank you
Dr Carol
Dr carol My dad’s dog just got home from the vet he had surgery too fix he’s back left leg he broke what’s the best way to care for him he’s just been sleeping and he want to go for a walk when he goes out to the bathroom I am just worried that he may hurt his leg also my dad seems to like he can go done a step and I keep telling him he can’t what to you think we should do and can the pain meds make him sleep all the time
Hi SBwilliams,
Your dog will need to have restricted activity, rest and should be on a leash for short walks and to do his business, until he is healed.
Your dog should not be forced to use steps, nor should he use steps at all until he is healed
Depending on what pain meds he is taking, most cause sleepiness which is fine as rest promotes healing
Be sure to talk to your vet for further specific post op instructions
If I can help further please let me know
Best Wishes for a speedy recovery
