Dr. Carol, I just returned from the vet whose speciality is internal medicine (Dr. Sharon Thieson). In regards to Lebeau, she performed an ultrasound that showed a mass in the spleen and that the mass has enlarged since Dec. 2006. She also suspects it to be metastatic and had spread thru out the liver and in his brain (which is the cause of his seizure). Our regular vet said the trembling was nothing.
I wish I had faxed you the results of the ultrasound back in December 2006, but I trusted our regular vet when he said it was nothing to worry about and didn’t think to take him to the specialist. (wrong thinking)
She has him on the treatment you mentioned and agreed with you that our vet had given up due to his age (and like you recommended we change vets due to errors and inaccuracies). She had discussed with me that there wasn’t more that could be done and that if he doesn’t improve in the next 4 to 5 days, we should make a decision to euthanize him.
I appreciate all you have done. As I said, you are the best and I wish there were more caring with expertise vets like yourself in this state and the world.
In the meantime, I would like to continue the “VitaLife” (I believe I have 2 orders on file of the “VitaLife” and my two poms gets half a tab so 1 bottle should be fine). As for Paris, I will be taking him to another vet and get his urine tested. Again, I appreciate all you have done and continue to do for my other pets.
I appreciate all you have done. I wouldn’t trust any other product if you didn’t recommend it. That’s how much I believe in you and other people with pets should too if they want their pets to be living as long as “Lebeau” or longer (he wasn’t suppose to be living as long as he has as I was told by vets)
Sincerely,
Karena
