Hi Dr. Carol, I am going to go online to your site though and order the arthritis formula as an addition to his Vitalife vitamins. Since the vet changed him to the low protein diet, he’s not getting the glucosamine and chrondrotin and I think it helps him. Sometimes I miss doses (as you can tell) 🙂 Whenever I travel with or without him it slips.
Sammy is doing pretty good for being 14 years old! He lost 2 pounds recently (he usually weighs in around 12 – 12.5 pounds. He’s a “big” Yorkie). Now he’s about 10. Ran urine test, poo tests, both okay. X-rays, no tumors. Heart, liver and spleen a little enlarged. But his BUN came back at 43, so vet has him on a low protein diet now. Sammy doesn’t seem to mind the switch. He has a good appetite. Thanks goodness.
I am taking the liberty of attaching a picture of him that was taken this last Christmas Eve/early Christmas morning. He looks pretty darn good for 98! 🙂 He’s my baby! Aren’t they all????
Thanks a lot, Jan
