Frosty Feline Fruity Delight. Cats are obligatory carnivores, unlike dogs and people, and most felines turn up their noses at anything that doesn’t offer a taste and smell to their liking. About 5.5 ounces of food per meal, twice a day, is ideal for most cats. Most cats are either meat eaters or fish eaters, although occasionally cats consume both meat and fish.
Many cats enjoy chicken, chicken livers, lamb, beef, turkey, duck, veal and venison; many fish-loving cats relish salmon. Lean meat may be prepared in many ways—boiled, broiled, fried or grilled. Cats also enjoy vegetables such as puréed squash, finely grated zucchini, puréed carrots, creamed corn and white asparagus tips.

Hi. I would love to make my cats homemade food but a few of my cats wont even eat meat. It seems they turn their nose away fron chicken, beef or any meat, which is why I am still trying to find canned food they like. I was on this website hoping to find the best nutritionally canned food to get them. They don’t seem to like them much. Im thinking because of all the junk they put in pet food. Who can blame them. In my readings and research, I also read fish is not really good for cats. So I very rarely give it to them. So out of all the brands of canned food on the market, I just wanted to know which ones are the best to get.
Debra, That is a very hard question! Many of our clients like Natural Planet Canned ( Chicken is the favorite), Darwins Raw Pet Food, Stella and Chewys, and Primal for their kitties. Fromm 4 Star also has cat dry food that is popular in our office. Cats are very particular, and it is hard to change their food often. They like to stick with one thing, many times.
