Stump at age 10 is Westminster’s Top Dog for 2009
Stump, a Sussex Spaniel age 10, was crowned Best in Show at Westminster. He came out of retirement just last week to compete. He was retired five years ago after recovering from an illness that kept him in Texas A&M University’s veterinary center for 19 days. Not only is this a first for the breed, Stump is also the oldest dog to achieve victory at this coveted canine event.
