Fellow Pet Lovers, I wanted to share this note I received from a pet owner whose dogs have become sickened from Blue Buffalo Dog Food about 6 months ago. She is hoping to collaborate with other pet owners whose dogs and/or cats have suffered health issues because of eating Blue Buffalo pet foods. “After 10 years of feeding the Blue Wilderness line of dog food to my pets, who all got perfect bloodwork for years, 6-7 months ago all my pets became very ill. My vet kept telling me there were no recalls with this food, and there were not. Which doesn’t mean the food wasn’t contaminated.”
“I just spoke to Blue Buffalo and they are denying anything was wrong with this brand. Yet they are sending me a claim form to submit to their pet health department. I will include all the receipts over the years from where I bought this food, and vet records and bills.”
“I am having all my pets bloodwork repeated, and submit that as well. I am also going to contact the vet that is mentioned in the article. I am about to inquire about starting another class action lawsuit if I can get other pet owners who had a similar experience with this brand of food.”

“I have been investigating Blue Buffalo pet foods for months trying to figure out what happened. I heard they shut down the class action lawsuit, but if I get any response to my public post, I will try to see what I can do about getting another lawsuit together. Either blue buffalo is denying it, or they did not know one of the ingredients from their suppliers was contaminated. Either way, my pets have all gone through hell, and so have my husband and I trying to figure this out.”
Blue Buffalo pet food has been fighting pet food recalls and class action lawsuits for over 9 consecutive years. Despite multi-million dollar settlements they are making Billions of Dollars. Their legal team continues to deny claims and they get away with selling pet food that is tainted, toxic and adulterated.
It is hard to understand why pet owners continue buying their food; in fact, Blue Buffalo’s Pet Food sales topped 1 Billion Dollars in 2016.
